The City of Groton is seeking an experienced individual to supervise the management of staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and organizational development, recruitment and labor relations (8 union contracts). Individual will work with leadership team to develop and implement Human Resources strategies, initiatives, and goals that support organizational objectives. Manage employee benefits and total compensation programs including merit increases, equity, and promotions that attract and retain key talent. Work with managers to define, develop and maintain a culture that inspires and fosters high employee performance and engagement and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations concerning employment practices.
