In 2008 we returned to work with the new City Manager and the newly elected City Council to set goals and objectives. The top 10 goals and objectives were mutually agreed upon through open discussions and rankings to direct the City Manager and let him know the Council’s priorities for the next fiscal year. Randi Frank Consulting, LLC and Slavin Management Consultants teamed up to conduct an executive search for a new City Manager in Newark, DE, and a Land Use Manager for New Castle County, DE. The process entailed meeting with appropriate stakeholders to determine what key qualifications, skills, abilities were needed, along with the issues and projects that will face the new Manager. We then put this information into a specialized profile to share with potential candidates.
